Search team holding recruitment meeting

LA CRESCENTA -- Those interested in helping lost hikers can attend an informational meeting of the Montrose Search and Rescue Team on Wednesday at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station.

The meeting will be about an hour, and will cover training needed to become a part of the team and requirements for the application. The Montrose Search and Rescue Team helps stranded and lost hikers in the Angeles National Forest.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.  The sheriff's station is at 4554 Briggs Ave.
